Article Profiles the Work of Iranian-American Inventors
 
On July 20, 2010, the IABA launched it's fourth of a series of Working Group documents aimed at educating the Iranian-American and overall community about important legal issues.  Working Group 4, titled
A Portrayal of Iranian-American Inventors: A Patent Perspective, is authored by Babak Tehranchi, a patent attorney at Foley & Lardner LLP in San Diego, California.  Mr. Tehranchi obtained his J.D. from the University of San Diego, and his Ph.D. in Optical Sciences, M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona.  He is the inventor of over 20 U.S. and international patents.
The Working Group document provides an assessment the Iranian-American contributions to science and technology in the United States as measured by their inventions registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).  You may access the Working Group Document, by visiting IABA's Publications Page.
