The DC Chapter of IABA would like to cordially invite you to a holiday gathering celebrating good tidings during this season, and warm wishes for the upcoming calendar year. We look forward to seeing you, your family, and close friends on Saturday December 19, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. at the address listed below.
We have many accomplishments to be proud of in calendar year 2009, including being the first of the twelve IABA chapters to hold a regular pro bono clinic, and expanding our membership ranks at a record pace. We are currently one of the largest, and practice area diverse chapters in the nation. Board members and speakers from our upcoming January OFAC CLE program will be present, and of course would be delighted to discuss other projects underway such as the chapter's website development, which will facilitate networking, cross-referrals, and mentorships in and amongst our membership and students.
A light dinner and drinks will be provided during the festivities. In order to assist in defraying the costs, the DC Chapter requests voluntary donations of $20--if your financial circumstances so permit. If you can make such a donation, please direct it to "Iranian American Bar Association" and write "DC Chapter" in the memo line, or make a donation via the national website at www.iaba.us under the "contribute" drop down menu (making sure to place the donation amount in the D.C. chapter slot). Cash can also be presented, but please make sure to present it to a Board member in attendance.
We look forward to seeing you at 6:30 p.m. on December 19, 2009 at:
