IABA is currently implementing a more robust pro bono program that will allow members to refer pro bono matters to lawyers within the IABA network and pool resources in connection with a pro bono representation. It is hoped that this program, which is overseen by the Public Interest Committee, will lead to a register of attorneys interested in pro bono work, both within and beyond IABA's membership ranks, together with specializations within which they are willing to offer their services. Click here for more information on the Public Interest Committee, or to contact us about a pro bono matter you wish to refer to assist with.

Members are asked to indicate in their application whether they are interested in taking on a pro bono matter, Please note that IABA itself is not engaged in the providing legal advice. IABA endeavors, through its referral resources, to make available to persons seeking an attorney the advice of a competent professional, both for pro bono and compensable matters; IABA, however, does not endorse, advocate, or recommend any particular source of legal services, and does not enter into any attorney-client relationship with any person.
